Capo testa

Head is one of the chief points of Sardinia, has more charm and that more was able to stimulate the imagination of locals and travelers, who over the centuries there have been numerous. The landscape if it is already amazing. Large boulders that have those nuances so characteristic that caress the different scales of gray and unusual pink shades, depending on changing of the star that illuminates them, so that even the ancient Romans knew how to dazzle. We chose the latter, to implant a small quarry in Chief head to extract the precious granite, whose keen eyes can still find traces.

But the mystery and wonder that the place offers is increased by the crystal clear sea, pools, hot pools and calm when the wind is calm, and the wonderful view of Corsica, which seems almost reached out to touch. And all around the eye may wander to the discovery of the famous and haughty Strait of Bonifacio, the mythical passage dangerous. The excursion to Capo Testa is really a must if you are near the Santa Teresa di Gallura.

The maze of granite is no more than 5 km from the city center, connected to the same by a narrow isthmus, which is lined along the beautiful beaches of the area, the beaches of Santa Reparata. Follow the signs that point to Capo Testa. Arrived in Cala Spinosa park and go on. You will find a sign that warns against entering, but the obligation has expired, then step over the gate and continue south. From here you can take the direction that you prefer, there are not obligated to, you can explore at your leisure conglomerate made up of the legendary cyclopean stones, whose form has been given in 300 million years by the incessant wind and sea.

The walk is not particularly difficult, unless you decide to climb the wall of the Moon, 130 meters high. We recommend caution in any case, especially in the case of strong winds and shoes.

According to the tourists who flock here each year, Santa Teresa di Gallura boasts the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, which is one of the most popular seaside destinations in the Italian seas.

In addition to the main beaches, marked on all maps and depicted on many postcards in their splendor, there are also small coves hidden, really wild places only.
