One of the notable monuments of the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura is definitely Longosardo Tower, the ancient name of the country. It was erected in the sixteenth century by the then King Philip II of Spain at the end of the country on a small piece of rock.

This tower was under the command of Francesco Maria Magnon around it built the foundations of the country today.

A few miles from the center is also the Church of Buoncammino, entirely surrounded by greenery and nature. This place of prayer, meditation and quiet is often a popular destination for many pilgrims and curious.

Another site of great historical importance is the so-called Battery Ferrero, a set of military positions, trenches, barracks and places for the artillery used during the Second World War.

Finally, how not to mention the Nuraghe, Sardinia typical buildings, which date back to the Bronze Age here, and they are the sites of the head and Lu Brandali.

These date back to 4000 BC and are believed to be the first settlements of the country.
