One of the noteworthy monuments of the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura is certainly the Longosardo tower, from the ancient name of the country. It was erected in the sixteenth century at the behest of the then king of Spain Filippo II at the end of the country, on a small strip of rock.
This tower passed under the command of Francesco Maria Magnon who built the foundations of the current country around it.

Another historical site of considerable importance is the so -called Ferrero battery, a set of war stations, trenches, barracks and places for artillery, used during the Second World War.
